イソα酸
iso-α-acids (isohumulones)
Isomerization products of hop α-acids formed during wort boiling; the classical principal bitter compounds of kettle-hopped beer. Occur as cis and trans stereoisomer pairs.

イソα酸のヒト検知閾値: group-wise detection threshold 7.1 mg/L in an unhopped lager beer matrix支持あり
範囲: ASTM method 1432 three-alternative forced-choice testing with 14 volunteers in an unhopped lager beer matrix
注記: A detection threshold in an unhopped lager matrix is not an intensity value for finished hopped beer. Single study; no independent replication located in this sprint.
The group-wise detection threshold for iso-α-acids in an unhopped lager beer matrix was 7.1 mg/L, reported with the figures 4.5-11.2 mg/L in parentheses. The group-wise value was taken as the point on a rank probability plot where 50% of panelists correctly identified the dosed sample; individual thresholds were read from a fitted sigmoidal curve at 66% correct.
限界: Abstract-level extraction. The abstract's wording ('the group-wise detection thresholds and standard deviations of thresholds ... were 7.1 mg/L (4.5-11.2 mg/L)') leaves it ambiguous whether the parenthetical is a standard-deviation-derived interval or the observed panelist range; it is recorded here verbatim rather than interpreted. A detection threshold is not a suprathreshold intensity value, and the unhopped matrix is not finished hopped beer.

範囲: ASTM method 1432 three-alternative forced-choice testing with 14 volunteers per compound in an unhopped lager beer matrix
注記: The abstract reports a wider spread for tetra (0.7-10.0) than for iso (4.5-11.2), so the ordering of the point estimates should not be read as a clean separation of the two panelist distributions. Statistical comparison of the two thresholds is not stated in the abstract.
Measured in the same unhopped lager beer matrix and by the same protocol, the group-wise detection threshold for tetrahydro-iso-α-acids was 2.7 mg/L (parenthetical figures 0.7-10.0 mg/L) against 7.1 mg/L (4.5-11.2 mg/L) for iso-α-acids. Group and individual results were compared across ASTM 1432 and ASTM 679 and were not statistically different on all but one testing day.
限界: Abstract-level extraction. The abstract does not report a statistical test comparing the iso and tetra thresholds to each other, so the ordering rests on the point estimates alone; the parenthetical spreads overlap substantially. Concentrations are mass-based, so the comparison does not adjust for molar mass.
